Development of a Preliminary Sanitary Sewer Management System

Status :

Completed

Contract Number:

40462

Time Period:

Jun 1995 - Jun 2001

Principal Investigator :

Co-Investigators:

Sponsored by:

  • Louisiana Board of Regents Support Fund

Objectives:

  • to investigate a sewer condition index that can be used by sewer infrastructure managers to clasify the structural condition of a sewer. Standardization of this index would allow agencies to share sewer condition data.
  • to provide a simple sewer prediction model that will assist an average engineer to make quick decisions in sanitary sewer management without depending too much on individual expertise for sewer condition assessment and prediction
