The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities serves more than one million people, providing safe, dependable drinking water, environmentally sound wastewater treatment and storm drainage systems, street lighting that helps make neighborhoods safer and municipal power. The Department continues to work closely with suburban partners; through contractual agreements, it provides drinking water to 20 suburban communities and sewer service to 22 suburban communities. |
