Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA)

Formerly:  Gulf Coast Trenchless Association (GCTA)

UCTA was founded in 1992 to promote education, training, research, development and information concerning traditional, trenchless and rehabilitation technologies and to promote the use of these technologies. Whether you are a contractor, engineer, municipal employee, or manufacturer interested in learning more about the importance of best practices in the underground industry, UCTA is here to serve you.

UCTA has two regional chapters in the state of Texas - the Gulf Coast Chapter and the North Texas Chapter.

UCTA 's purpose is to advance the science and practice of installing, repairing, maintaining and replacing utility lines and related facilities through construction and rehabilitation techniques that do not require digging a trench ( trenchless technology). The GCTA also serves to promote education, training, research, development and information concerning trenchless technology and to promote the use of that technology.

UCTA holds bimonthly general luncheon meetings in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December on the second Wednesday of the month. At each meeting, a keynote speaker addresses issues pertinent to the growing trenchless industry.  Visit our website for meeting registration details and membership.
